I work comfortably on an international stage, with multinational crew members and international partners.
When I'm a foreigner, I'm in my comfort zone.
I love it when the world seems big; I don't understand everything, I don't know it all, and my curiosity is fed with uncertainty.
After having carrier stops in Sweden, the UK, the US, Spain, Italy, Austria, the Czech Republic, and Switzerland, I have focused on Eastern Europe since 2024.

Before today
Almost three hundred small productions
About 280 corporate films for public agencies, companies, and organisations, as well as art projects for artists, actors, and musicians.
Beyond that, my first feature film was a low-budget (!) production shot in 6 countries, with more than 170 crew and cast members, and released worldwide on streaming services in 2022.

I love drama
The unknown is fascinating, scary, but essential to learn from - to all of us!

Next to the screenplays, I'm writing a novel set in the future, full of love and hate. It's not science fiction, it's not a love story - it's just an Asang-Story.
A very nice hobby of mine is writing a children's book character. I started telling my own son about her when he was about 4. Maybe that one makes it into the shelves of bookstores and libraries.
Everyday life today
Finding inspiration in diverstity
I split my time between home in Berlin with my kid and writing and pre-producing abroad.
Besides working from my desk in Szczecin and at the beach in Poland, I travel and work across Poland, Czechia, Slovakia, and Ukraine. In different environments, I create more freely and connect more easily with film institutes and colleagues.
